This program offers opportunities for skaters of all ages who have completed at least Level 6 in the Canskate program to develop fundamental figure skating skills in the areas of ice dance, skating skills, free skate and interpretive skating. Skaters have the opportunity to take Skate Canada Tests through a nationally standardized testing system. The program offers ice time for practice as well as individual and group lessons.
STAR 1-6 skate lesson times are Mondays and/or Wednesdays from 6:30-7:50 pm. Senior or STAR 6- GOLD skate times are Mondays and/or Wednesdays from 4:00-5:30. All skaters have off-ice lessons included in their fees. These lessons are scheduled between 5:45 and 6:15.
The fall/winter session runs from September 27 to April 11th.
Preseason sessions will run from August 30th to September 22nd.
