Welcome to the Russell Skating Club.Conveniently located in the beautiful town of Russell, we offer skating lessons to children and adults from age 4. Participants must be 4 years of age by December 31, 2023 to participate.

We are proud to be part of Skate Ontario's CanSkate Excellence Club and we have been given the advanced standard for planning and implementation of our CanSkate programs.

CanSkate is our entry-level program where basic skating skills are taught to children, youths and adults. After mastering the basics there are the options of Senior or Advanced CanSkate for skaters at Stage 4 and up in the CanSkate program.  After the completion of Stage 6 in the CanSkate program we offer STARSkate. STARSkate offers opportunities for skaters of all ages to develop fundamental figure skating skills in the areas of Ice Dance, Skating Skills, Free Skate and Artistic skating. Skaters have the opportunity to take Skate Canada Assessments through a nationally standardized assessment system.
